Surviving on caffeine and concealer?
Help is here.
You can achieve rapid, real sleep progress without adding to your emotional load
Hi, I’m Lucie!
Mum of three little ones and former sleep-deprived anxious zombie turned infant sleep coach.
I support parents who are at their wits’ end - exhausted, overwhelmed, and barely getting through the days - to make real, lasting improvements to their child’s sleep.
Are you dreading the night ahead?
Obsessing over wake windows?
Is nap anxiety taking over your whole day?
Maybe you’re too overwhelmed to leave the house, yet desperate to get out.
If this is you, I get it. I’ve been there more times than I can count! Reflux, regressions, night terrors, teething… when you’re living it, every day (and night) can feel never-ending.
I created Sleeping It Real after years of sleep deprivation because I believe we cannot be the parents we want to be when we’re stuck in survival mode.
You deserve calm, confidence, and real sleep. Not just for your baby, but for you too.
This is what I help you move towards:
✓ Evenings to yourself
✓ Nights where everyone sleeps peacefully
✓ Nap routines that feel easy, not anxiety-inducing
✓ Support through regressions, leaps, illness, and all the bumps
You don’t have to do this alone anymore.
“She was a rock during a very challenging time. After enlisting Lucie’s help, I finally didn’t feel like I was doing it by myself anymore. She always answered the phone, listened to my struggles, and made me believe it was going to get better (even when I didn’t think it was possible!). ”
Improving your little one’s sleep doesn’t have to feel overwhelming
When you’re running on very little sleep, advice can start to blur together and feel like too much.
What tends to help most is clear, calm support that makes things feel doable again.
That’s what my approach is built around: A few simple principles designed to help sleep change feel more manageable, even in the thick of it.
The R.E.A.L approach
R
Realistic Plans
Sleep support only works when it fits your child, your life, and what you can realistically manage right now.
E
Easier for you
My job is to reduce the emotional and mental load, making the whole process simpler to follow and easier to stick with, especially when you’re tired or doubting yourself.
A
Actionable Steps
Your plan is broken down into clear, simple steps - so nothing feels confusing or complicated.
L
Loving Boundaries
Responsive comfort + clear structure and consistency - the balance that helps babies feel safe as they learn to sleep independently.
If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been needing, the next step is simply a conversation - which you can book below
What my clients are saying
What support with me looks like
Working together starts with understanding what’s really been going on (not just your baby’s sleep, but how it’s affecting you.)
From there, I create a clear, realistic plan tailored to your baby, your family, and what you’re able to manage right now.
We focus on steady, supported changes that help sleep improve without adding to your emotional load.
How much support you have along the way is flexible. Some parents want clear guidance they can follow independently, while others want closer support as they put changes into practice.
We talk through what feels right for you, and choose the level of support that best fits your needs. The aim is the same whatever option you choose: a plan that feels doable, supportive, and helps you move out of survival mode and into something more manageable.
Is this support right for you?
It’s likely to be a good fit if:
✓ You’re looking for clear guidance that still feels responsive and realistic
✓ Sleep feels emotionally heavy and hard to switch off from
✓ You’ve tried advice or plans that haven’t quite worked for your baby
✓ You need sleep to change sooner rather than later
It may not be the right fit if:
X You’re looking for an off-the-shelf solution
X You’re happy to wait things out and see how sleep develops on its own
X Your baby’s sleep isn’t currently affecting how you’re coping day to day
“We felt completely stuck and exhausted. Lucie approached everything with warmth, clarity, and so much practical knowledge. Within just one week of following her guidance, we’ve seen a huge transformation.”
How it works
1. Free discovery call (20 mins)
If you decide to book a discovery call, this is simply a chance to:
Talk through what’s been happening with sleep
Explore what you’re finding hardest right now
Discuss what kind of support might help
See whether working together feels like the right next step
Many parents say that even having this conversation helps things feel lighter.
2. You choose the level of support that feels right for you
Every family is different, and so is the level of support they need. That’s why I offer three ways to work together, depending on how you’re feeling, how much support you want, and what feels manageable right now. Please note that ALL of my packages are created bespoke for you.
“I’ll never take for granted the skills she has taught me. Could not recommend her enough for anyone who has reached their limit with tricky sleep. Thank you, Lucie! ”

Your questions, answered
Is this right for my child?
I primarily support and guide parents with little ones aged 6 months to 3 years, who are struggling with burnout or anxiety, in helping their infant to sleep independently, with a tailored, clear and flexible framework that works for the whole family. If you’re unsure whether your child is the right age or stage, the free call is the best place to explore that together.
What if my baby cries?
Some level of protest is very normal (almost inevitable!) when babies and toddlers are learning a new skill - including sleep. My approach is based on loving boundaries, which means your baby is never ignored. I’ll guide you on how to respond with comfort and reassurance, while still keeping the structure that helps sleep improve.
What exactly are ‘Loving Boundaries’?
Loving boundaries are at the heart of my approach. They’re about finding the sweet spot where comfort and reassurance meet structure and consistency.
Your baby is always responded to. You offer comfort, and reassure them - but you do it within a clear, predictable framework that helps them feel safe and understand what to expect. It’s about guiding them calmly and consistently as they learn the skill of independent sleep.
That magical sweet spot looks different for every child and every family. What feels right for one baby or parent might not feel right for another. That’s why my approach is responsive, flexible, and parent-led, with plans tailored to your baby’s needs and your comfort level, so you can move forward feeling confident, supported, and in control.
How quickly will things improve?
Every little one is different, but many families begin to see meaningful changes within the first few days to a week. The goal is steady, sustainable progress, rather than quick fixes that fall apart. My support period is for 3 weeks, so that I can be by your side, to provide continuous coaching and encouragement which will set you up for long-term success.
Is there any pressure to continue after the free call?
None at all. The free call is simply a chance to talk things through and see if we’re the right fit. You’re always in control of what happens next.
Do you work with parents who are struggling with anxiety or mental health?
Yes, this is a big part of my work. I understand first-hand how deeply sleep deprivation affects mental health. My approach is designed to feel supportive, contained, and manageable, not overwhelming or judgemental.
